Blaze Devours Two Shops in Anambra Market

Must Read

Early Sunday morning, a fire started at Mgbuka Obosi Market in Idemili North, Anambra. The fire burned two shops.

However, many other shops didn’t burn because firefighters arrived in time to put out the flames.

The Chief Fire Officer of Anambra Fire Service, Chukwudi Chiketa, told people about the fire this Sunday in Onitsha.

“At 2 AM, we received a call about a fire at Mgbuka Obosi Market. We sent our brave firefighters and their equipment right away. They battled the fire and stopped it from spreading,” he said.

Thankfully, no one was hurt. Only two stores and one shop were damaged. The firefighters saved many other shops. The fire started because of an electric problem.
