Big Brother Naija’s ‘No Loose Guard’ pair, Zinwe, says the show helped their relationship.
Zinwe is made up of Zion Ogiefa and Chinwe Elibe. They talked about this in an online interview on Thursday in Lagos.
The couple got evicted from the show on Sunday. They said they had many misunderstandings while on the show.
At one point, they even thought about ending their relationship.
Chinwe said: “Being on the show helped us a lot. Now we handle problems better.
“If we weren’t on the show, we might have broken up sooner because of real-life problems.
“Being together in Biggie’s house gave us a chance to face our issues as a couple. After going through that, we are now stronger.”
Also, Zion said: “Big Brother Naija was a learning experience for us. We learned patience and resilience.
“I made good friends in the house, so it was not bad. It was fun and educational. I met people I didn’t know before and learned about new cultures.”
Zinwe had some tough times in the house but assured their fans that their relationship is still strong.
Zion added: “Big Brother Naija is over, but our relationship is still solid. We didn’t start dating because of the show, so it won’t end because of it.
“Our relationship was only five months old when we entered the show. We knew it would be tough and people would judge us, but we were ready.
“We also know that tough times are normal in a relationship. If you don’t have them, it means the relationship isn’t healthy. Those tough times taught us a lot.”
