Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, has reaffirmed his commitment to work closely with the newly appointed National Secretary of the main opposition People's Democratic Party (PDP), Udeh Okoye, to promote the party's vision and contribute significantly to development national.
The Governor made these statements on Saturday night when the National Labor Committee (CNT) of the PPD, headed by the National Secretary, paid him a condolence visit for the death of his stepmother.

Bala Mohammed stated: “Yesterday I received the National Working Committee (NWC) of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) at my residence when they paid me a condolence visit following the passing away of my beloved stepmother, Hajiya Hauwa, who lived a remarkable life of almost 120 years.”
He added: “On behalf of the delegation, Ibrahim Yayari expressed his deepest condolences, offered prayers for my family and acknowledged Hajiya Hauwa’s impactful life of wisdom and guidance.”
“I deeply appreciate the solidarity of the NWC during this time of grief. “I also reaffirmed my commitment to work closely with our newly appointed National Secretary @OfficialPDPNig, Udeh Okoye, to advance the vision of the party and contribute significantly to national development,” the Governor said.
The delegation expressed their condolences to the Governor, stating that in this moment of pain they had come to identify with him and share his pain, assuring him that the pain would soon pass.
The NWC also assured the Governor of its support for his efforts to stabilize the PDP as a strong opposition party in the country, particularly from the perspective of the party's Governors' Forum.
