On Monday, Barau FC, which plays in the Nigeria National League (NNL), introduced their new coach, Salisu Yusuf, according to DAILY POST.
Yusuf, who used to help coach the Super Eagles, signed a one-year deal with Barau FC.
The 62-year-old coach’s job is to help the club get into the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Yusuf has a lot of experience coaching teams in Nigeria.
In the past, he has coached Nasarawa United, Kano Pillars, Enyimba, and El-Kanemi Warriors.
He also led the home-based Super Eagles to the final of the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco.
Barau FC is owned by Jibrin Barau, who is the Deputy Senate President of Nigeria.
