The Nigerian military has achieved a big win in the fight against bad guys in the North-West. They have stopped a well-known bandit leader, Kachalla Sani Black.

Sani Black, who was behind many attacks, was taken down by a group of soldiers and local helpers in the Magama Mai Rake zone of Maru, a place in Zamfara State.

Reports say that the bandit leader and his two sons were also stopped during this mission.

During the operation, soldiers and helpers found two AK-47 guns, a PKT machine gun, and some money.

A soldier shared that for more than ten years, Sani Black had been scaring many towns in the northern parts, including Zamfara, with terrible acts like kidnappings and violence.

Sani Black had over 150 armed followers, and his scary deeds went beyond Zamfara to places like Kaduna, Niger, and Kebbi. He was involved in ambushes, kidnappings for money, and raiding villages.

On September 24, 2024, he and his sons were stopped after a clash happened between local helpers and bad guys in Tashar Sahabi.

Soldiers from a nearby base, FOB Hanutara, were sent to the area to stop any revenge attacks from the bad guys.

A soldier said, when they got there, they found Sani Black’s body but were soon attacked by other bandits.

Reports say that other bad leaders, including Gwaska Dankarami, are gathering around Kuran Mota to attack again.

Security forces are ready and alert, making sure the area stays safe, the soldier added.
