France Football, the group that gives out the Ballon d’Or award, is changing how they do things this year.
There are only a couple of weeks left until the big day on October 28, and everyone is excited to see who will win.
Many people think it will be Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid. Other big names like Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, and Rodri are also in the mix, but Vinicius really shined last season. He helped his team, Los Blancos, win important titles like LaLiga and the Champions League.
In a surprise twist, Mario Cortegana from The Athletic shared that the person who wins the Ballon d’Or in 2024 won’t get an interview with France Football before the awards night. That’s different from before, where they used to do an interview first.
This year, the winner will discover if they’ve won when the envelope is opened during the live show. Imagine waiting eagerly and finding out the big news right in front of everyone!
