The police in Kaduna stopped a car and found 15 pieces of military clothing that were not sewn yet. They also caught two men who they think are car thieves.

Police officer ASP Mansir Hassan shared this news on Tuesday in Kaduna.

He explained, “On August 25, around 1:20 pm, police officers were doing their job on Birnin Gwari-Kaduna Highway. They stopped a car and found a black bag with 15 pieces of unsewn military clothes inside.”

One of the suspects said he was taking the clothes to someone in Udawa Village. That person would then give the clothes to bandits in the Chukuba area of Shiroro LGA in Niger for their criminal activities.

Hassan also mentioned that on Tuesday, around noon, police in Makarfi were patrolling the area and found some armed robbers blocking the road with logs and stones.

He said, “When the police arrived, there was a gunfight between them and the robbers. The police had stronger guns, so the robbers ran away into the bushes.”

He added, “One of the robbers was caught during the fight, and the police took his homemade gun and one bullet.”

The police are still looking around the bushes to catch the rest of the robbers.

Mansir Hassan also mentioned that a man named AbdulAziz AbdulMumin told the police that someone had stolen his blue-black Toyota car.

The police found the car in Hayin Dan Mani area of Igabi LGA.

They arrested two suspects, Abdul Mukhtar and Mamman Ahmad, who lives on Zoo Road in Kano.

During questioning, the suspects admitted that they used a special key to steal cars.

The police are still investigating to find out more about the suspects’ activities and if they have other partners in crime.
