The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed the sad news of a woman named Mrs. Rose Eneojoh being killed in Kogi State.
This happened at a place called Etikpolo Anyigba in the Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State. People do not know who the killers are yet.
The police spokesperson in Kogi State, William Ovye Aya, told the DAILY POST about this on Thursday night. He said that a man named Muazu Muhammed has been arrested because police think he might know something about the crime.
“I talked to the Police Officer in the area, and he said that one person has been arrested for being linked to the woman’s death. Someone went to the police station to report the attack. The main suspect, Muazu Muhammed, was arrested and the case has been moved to Lokoja for further investigation,” said Aya.
On social media, a user named Charles Ile Umoru shared more details about this incident. He said, “This kind woman, Mrs. Rose Eneojoh, who is the wife of my brother-in-law, was brutally killed last night at Etikpolo Anyigba. The killers told her and her husband that they were paid 200,000 Naira to kill her.
“Mrs. Rose offered them more money to save her life. They took the money but still shot her. Now, her husband and their 5 young children are left very sad. How long will these bad things keep happening in Igala land?”
