Some bad people have hurt and taken away some passengers in Ondo State. Two people, sadly, died, and five others, including a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, were kidnapped.
Two passengers managed to run away but got hurt by gunshots.
The bodies of the driver and a lady sitting in the front seat, who were killed, have been taken to Adelabu Hospital in Ifon.
This sad event happened on the Ifon/Owo Expressway in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo on Friday night.
There were about fifteen kidnappers with big guns called AK-47 rifles. They stopped the Sienna bus at 11:00 pm.
SP Fumilayo Odunlami-Omisanyan, the State Police spokesperson, said they are still trying to figure out all the details.
However, Odunlami mentioned, “Our police officers are searching the forest very carefully to rescue the kidnapped people.”
