The young leader of Nigeria’s main political party, the APC, is named Dayo Israel. He said he was very sad about Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s death.
Israel said this on Saturday in Lagos. He was shocked and very upset because Ubah’s death was sudden and unexpected.
“This is very sad and surprising. He was working so hard to become a governor.
“We were just in Anambra for his community event where he helped many people,” Israel said.
“It is very sad to lose him now,” the APC youth leader added.
He also called Ubah a great leader and a generous politician.
Ubah was the boss of Capital Oil before he died on Saturday. He was a senator for Anambra South in the Nigerian Senate.
Ubah died at 52 years old in London, UK. He was the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Petroleum (Downstream).
Ubah was elected as a senator for Anambra South in the 9th National Assembly with the Young Peoples Party, YPP, which was not very well-known.
He recently joined the main political party, the All Progressives Congress, APC.
