APC Expresses Gratitude to Edo Electorate for Voting Okpebholo

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has thanked the people of Edo State for voting for their governorship candidate, Monday Okpebholo.

On Sunday, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced that Monday Okpebholo of APC won the Edo State governorship election.

Okpebholo received 291,667 votes, while Asue Ighodalo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) got 247,274 votes.

Prof. Faruk Adamu Kuta, the Returning Officer and Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, shared the results. He said APC won in 11 out of 18 local government areas in the state.

APC’s spokesman, Felix Morka, shared a message on APC’s X page, saying: “Senator Monday Okpebholo’s @m_akpakomiza deserved to win in this tight election. His message of hope and getting better connected with the people of Edo State.

“We thank the people of Edo for supporting our party and voting for our candidate. We believe Okpebholo’s leadership will bring a new time of peace, development focusing on people, and prosperity for the state.”
