Governor Seyi Makinde from Oyo State says the All Progressives Congress (APC) will be surprised by what happens in the Ondo State election on November 16. The APC’s main person, Abdullahi Ganduje, will also be surprised.
Makinde believes the APC will lose more elections in the Southwest of Nigeria. He is sure that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will win against them. Makinde, who leads the PDP in the Southwest, thinks that APC is not good for Nigeria.
Recently in Akure, which is the main city in Ondo State, Abdullahi Ganduje said that after they win the election in Ondo, APC will also win in other Southwest places.
On the other side, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa said the PDP is no longer strong in the state.
Governor Makinde, who was with PDP supporters in the Akoko area of Ondo, said PDP is still strong there.
He said PDP wants to win the governorship election and that both Ganduje and Aiyedatiwa will be surprised at the election results. He said, “If wishes came true, everyone would get what they want. But the people of Southwest Nigeria, especially in Ondo, are smart.”
Pointing at the supporters, he continued, “Look at how excited they are! On November 16, the people will show Ganduje that Ondo and the whole Southwest support PDP. Words are easy to say, but the real proof will come during the election.”
Governor Makinde finished by saying, “Everyone will hear the loud and clear decision of Ondo State on November 16, 2024.”
