Lionel Messi’s wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, has shared their biggest surprise since Messi joined a new soccer team in Miami.
In 2023, Messi left European soccer and joined a league in the United States called Major League Soccer (MLS).
Right after Messi got there, he started doing great things both on and off the soccer field in America.
With his new team, Inter Miami, Messi has already won two prizes: the Leagues Cup and the Supporters’ Shield. Now, he wants to win even more!
Besides soccer, Messi and his family are enjoying sunny Miami, where it’s nice and warm.
Antonela told a magazine named Haute Living, “I love the weather, the friendly people, and the beautiful views in Miami. It feels like summer all the time here!”
She also said, “The biggest surprise was how nice everyone was when we got here. We thought it would be special, but they made us feel even more welcome than we expected.”
“Living in Miami has been easy, and we’re all happy. At first, we worried if our kids wouldn’t like it or would have trouble fitting in, but they loved it from day one,” Antonela added.
