The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) is not happy with the All Progressives Congress (APC). They say APC quit the local election in Anambra State because they were afraid they would lose.
Chinedu Obigwe, who speaks for APGA, said, “APC knows they can’t win, so they ran away from the election.”
On Tuesday, Obigwe made a statement. He said, “APC in Anambra is scared of losing. Since Basil Ejidike became the leader of APC in Anambra, they have never won any election here.”
Obigwe also talked about something that happened in 2017. He said that APC members told former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo that their party has no real presence in Anambra State.
He blamed Basil Ejidike, APC’s leader, for trying to hide his party’s weakness by quitting the election.
Obigwe thanked the Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission (ANSIEC) for doing a good job in organizing the election. He said the election will still happen on September 28th.
