Anambra Community Leader and Another Kidnapped Individual Freed After Two Weeks

Must Read

The leader of the Umunze Progressive Union (UPU), Mr. Ezekiel Iheazor, and a well-known member of the political group APGA, Mr. Ikechukwu Okoli, were taken by bad people in Umunze, a place in Anambra State. But now, they are free again!

These two men were taken from Mr. Okoli’s house, which is in a village called Lomu in Umunze. When this happened, the people in the village were very scared and sad, like how you feel when you lose your favorite toy.

But guess what? On Thursday night, there was a big party because Mr. Iheazor and Mr. Okoli came back safely to their homes. Imagine how happy everyone was, just like celebrating a big birthday party!

A friend from the village told a newspaper called DAILY POST that the men came back late at night after being away for more than two weeks with the people who took them. It was like waiting for a long time to see your best friend again.

No one is really sure if the families had to give the bad people money to let them go. And right now, the police haven’t said anything about how these men got released. It’s a mystery still!
