Famous American singer and producer, Frankie Beverly, has passed away.
The R&B music star died on Tuesday at the age of 77.
His family shared the news on the official Instagram page of Frankie Beverly and his band, Maze, on Wednesday.
“Losing a loved one is very sad and emotional. Right now, we are feeling deep sorrow and remembering him. We ask everyone to give us some privacy and understanding to let us grieve in our own way.
“This is a time for healing. We appreciate your respect for our need to be alone as we honor the memory of our beloved Howard Stanley Beverly, who the world knew as Frankie Beverly.”
Frankie Beverly was well-known for his soul and funk band, Maze, which he started in 1970.
