Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has commended INEC and security agencies for ensuring the early arrival of electoral materials to the polling units.
After arriving at his PU 005, Ward 10, Obenla, in Ilaje LGA, Mr Aiyedatiwa, an All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the election, came forward to be accredited and subsequently cast his vote. At 8.45 am
He told reporters that based on the information he has gathered so far, there are indications that voting materials arrived early.
However, he said he wasn't sure if the same was true statewide.

“I hope that the report I received is the same in all the electoral units of the state,” he said.
He also urged residents to be calm and peaceful, assuring that the elections would end well.
Aiyedatiwa is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, while his main rival in the elections is Agboola Ajayi of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
