Aisha Yesufu, a well-known activist and politician, recently shared something important on a podcast. She mentioned that she doesn’t belong to the Labour Party or any political party.
Aisha was part of the Labour Party’s campaign team for the 2023 presidential elections. But, when she was talking on the podcast called Mic On with Seun Okinbaloye, she made it clear that she isn’t a member of any political group.
She also said that she never wanted a job from anyone because she can support herself financially.
Aisha explained, “I made sure I could take care of myself financially before I started talking about issues in Nigeria.
“I’m not a part of the Labour Party. I’ve never been an official member of any party.
“I challenge anyone, no matter who they are, to say that I, Aisha Yesufu, have ever visited them to ask for a job or a contract. I’m a businesswoman! I buy things, sell them, distribute them, build houses, and sell them too.”
