About 10 people were killed in another attack against five communities in the area of ​​the local government of Bokkos of the State of Plateau.

This attack occurred just six days after a similar attack in the Ruwi community, where 10 people were shot dead and three others were injured while watching a vigil ceremony.

President of the Bokkos Cultural Development Council, BCDC, Vanguard, Farmasum Fuddang, who confirmed the incident on Thursday, narrated how the attackers carried out the attacks.

According to him, “there were attacks on Wednesday and five villages were affected. It started from Mongor, but the attackers were expelled by the security forces. The attackers moved to Daffo and attacked the community, but security responded quickly and pursued them. After Daffo, they went to the villages of Manguna, Hurti and Tadai and threw attacks.”

A statement signed by the president of BCDC said: “In just one week, we have lost more than 20 community members due to these Mero -Deepening Terrorists. On April 2 alone, they killed more than 10 people.

“All thanks to the Nigerian military and police for their rapid response to the calls of anguish, which helped minimize the casualties.

“We extend our deepest sympathies to the victims of the recent invasions in Ruwi, Mangor, Daffo, Manguna, Huitti and Tadai. We call on emergency agencies such as Nema, Sema and the Red Cross Nigeria to quickly provide relief to the displaced and injured.”

Daily Post gathered that the last attacks have forced residents of the affected communities and their neighbors to flee for their lives.

Meanwhile, the State of Plateau has condemned the attacks in Mangor Tamiso, Daffo, Manguna (Tagai), Huitti and Tadai Communities of Bokkos Local Government of the State on the night of April 2, 2025.

The Information Commissioner and Commissioner, Joyce Ramnap, also requested calm among the citizens of the State.

“I extend the deepest sympathies of the state government to the victims of the recent invasions in Ruwi, Mangor, Daffo, Manguna, Hurti and Tadai.

“I am asking for calm and moderation. To this end, our citizens urge to remain attentive, but peaceful.

“We praise the efforts of the security agents for their response and urge them to ensure that the perpetrators of this Dastardly law are taken to the reservation,” said the commissioner.
