Mike Dada, who leads the All Africa Music Awards known as AFRIMA, is feeling very sad because his wife, Modupe Temitope Dada, passed away on Saturday.
Modupe left us after being sick for a short while. She was in Dutchess International Hospital in Lagos and she was 48 years old.
Mike, the husband, shared the sad news on Instagram. He wrote:
“With a very heavy heart, the Dada family shares that our beloved wife and sister, Modupe Temitope Dada, whom we fondly called Dupsy or Mama Africa, left us on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Dutchess International Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos.
“She was a true wife and mother, full of love. Modupe worked in banking and entertainment, making everyone feel loved and cared for, which is something we adored about her.
“Our family is accepting this with faith in God’s plan and kindly asks for your prayers and support in these tough times. Modupe always prioritized her family and Africa. Her absence is a gap that can’t be filled.”
