In August 2023, controversial singer Portable shocked Nigerians by confirming his romantic relationship with the late wife of the Alaafin of Oyo Lamidi Adeyemi III, Queen Dami.
Queen Dami, one of the late Alaafin's fugitive wives, made headlines in November 2020 when she fled her palace, leaving behind her marriage to the traditional ruler.
He later apologized to the monarch, saying his friends had misled her and would cause a stir in June 2023 after she looked for love online during the actor's online dating reality show Lege Miami.
Her relationship with Portable, a controversial singer, has been the subject of public interest and scrutiny since she was previously married to a top-class Nigerian traditional ruler.
It has also been an unforgettable story as they have expressed their feelings for each other, but this has not been without some online fights from time to time.

In his latest Instagram post, Portable shows off his romantic side by referring to his beloved as his “star” on her 27th birthday. This post, shared with his millions of followers, is a public declaration of his love and a sign that their relationship remains strong despite the challenges they have faced.
Showing his love for Queen Damilola, 'Zazzu Zeh' shared a beautiful photo of her dressed in a black dress with sweet captions.
The Ogun-born singer’s Instagram post read: “Happy birthday, Mama Oba, my star, queen, Alayo. I fly with you forever. God bless your new age.”
On Portable's 30th birthday, Queen Damilola celebrated him and thanked him for being her rock and best friend.
The mother of one wrote: “Happy birthday to my wonderful man. You bring so much love, laughter and happiness to my life. Thank you for being my rock and my best friend. Here’s to another year of adventures together.”
Portable, who boasted of having six wives despite fathering four babies, responded to the wishes by referring to Queen Damilola as his Queen and adding a love emoji.

This was not the first time that Portable, known for his controversy, publicly expressed his love for his fellow members after previously criticizing them.
In April, Portable criticized his wife, Bewaji, for omitting his name in her birthday post. He was upset with her and asked why she referred to herself as “Queen of Myself” instead of the usual “Queen of Portable.”
She said it made her into the strong woman people refer to, urging her to respect herself.
In June, he praised his wife and criticized his baby mother, Ashabi Simple, for allegedly taking away his influential positions. The musician asked her to be loyal like his first wife.
