The Nigeria Women Football League team, Rivers Angels, has a new leader. They have just welcomed Tosan Blankson as their new head coach.
Tosan Blankson is replacing their old coach, Whyte Ogbonda. Whyte Ogbonda left Rivers Angels to join another team called Bayelsa Queens after the last season ended.
Rivers Angels shared the happy news on a social media platform X. They said, “We are happy to tell you that Tosan Blankson is our new head coach.”
They also mentioned that more information about his job contract will be shared with everyone later. This will happen during his official introduction.
Tosan Blankson is not new to coaching. He used to be the coach for another team called Delta Queens.
Also, the players of Rivers Angels will come back to practice on August 7. They will begin getting ready for the new season then.
