The local police in Tampa have arrested three people for the murder of famous U.S. rapper Julio Foolio.
Julio Foolio, sadly, was killed while celebrating his 26th birthday on June 23, 2024.
On Monday, the police said that they have arrested Alicia Andrews, who is 21 years old, Isaiah Chance Jr., also 21, and Sean Gathright, who is 18.
These three are accused of planning and carrying out the murder with a gun.
Sean Gathright is also accused of trying to hide evidence that would show what really happened.
The police are also looking to arrest two more people, Davion Murphy, who is 27, and Rashad Murphy, who is 30.
These two are wanted for the same crimes, but are also being charged with trying to kill three other people.
The police said that all five suspects had planned this terrible crime from June 21 to June 23.
The suspects traveled from Jacksonville to Tampa in two cars on June 22 to find Foolio and hurt him because of a gang rivalry in Jacksonville, according to the police.
On June 23, the police said Chance and Andrews followed Julio Foolio and his friends to a hotel. It was there that they killed him and hurt three other people.
Police believe the suspects belong to two different gangs, ‘ATK’ and ‘1200,’ and Foolio was part of the ‘6 Block’ gang.
