The police in Osun State caught a man named Isaac Alagbe, who is 60 years old, and two other men. They had guns and bullets they were not supposed to have.

A police spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola, shared this news on Monday. She said the police found Isaac in a place called Ada, in Boripe Local Government Area, on July 24, 2024. Isaac is a blacksmith, which means he makes things from metal. The police say he made and sold guns to bad people.

Two other men, Shina Bamgbose, who is 50, and Babatunde Oyebode, who is 22, were also caught with Isaac when the police arrived.

Yemisi said, “On July 24, 2024, the police got information that Isaac Alagbe, who people call ‘Ogun Kofeke’, was making and selling single-barrel guns in Odo Amun community in Ada. Police from Ikirun Division quickly went to the place. They caught Isaac and a man buying a gun. Another man, the third suspect, came there on a motorcycle with a different kind of gun called a Dane gun.”

When the police arrested them, they took away many things like 10 single-barrel guns, one Dane gun, three live bullets, a machete, charms, tools for making guns, and a master key.

Yemisi Opalola said the police would ask a judge to decide what happens next after they finish their investigation.
