Transfer News: Peter Crouch Predicts New Chelsea Signing Will Be a Squad Player

Must Read

Peter Crouch, a former Liverpool player, shared his thoughts about Chelsea’s new player, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

Crouch believes Dewsbury-Hall will mostly be a backup player at Chelsea, supporting main players Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.

Just recently, Dewsbury-Hall joined Chelsea for a big fee of £30 million. He used to play for Leicester City.

Dewsbury-Hall is now with the Chelsea team and his old manager from Leicester City, Enzo Maresca, who also moved to Chelsea.

He signed a contract that will keep him playing for Chelsea until 2030 – that’s six years!

Peter Crouch said to Paddy Power, “Towards the end of the last season, Enzo Fernandez got really good, and I think we will see more amazing plays from Enzo and Moises Caicedo next year.”

“With more experience, I believe they will get even better. Right now, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall will be a team player, helping out the main players.”

“But when a big team like Chelsea wants you, you should give it a try. You can always go back to a team like Leicester, but you have to take a chance with big clubs. I did the same when I joined Liverpool, and it was the best choice I ever made.”
