A very sad event happened at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko (AAUA) in Ondo State. Emmanuel, a 300-level Linguistics student, was shot and killed by some people over the weekend.
This terrible incident took place at Emmanuel’s home in a private hostel near the university. Nobody knows why these people attacked him.
Since this happened, everyone in the university is very scared and worried. They don’t understand why someone would do this to a student like Emmanuel.
The Vice Chairman of the National Association of University Students (NAUS), Oladele Emmanuel, spoke to the Newslodge. He said, “We are all very sad and confused about why this happened to Emmanuel.”
He also said, “Right now, everyone’s safety is the most important thing. We need the university, the government, and the police to find out what happened and why.”
“We want the people who did this to be caught and punished. Everyone at the university needs to know that such a bad thing will not be ignored. The police and school should work very hard to solve this case.”
Oladele further said, “Emmanuel’s death is a big loss for his family, friends, and everyone at AAUA. He was a valuable part of our university, and his death makes us all very sad. We send our deep sympathy to his family and friends during this tough time.”
