The Nasarawa Youth Empowerment Agency (NAYEA) found a man named Dauda Mohammed who they think broke into mosques in Lafia. They gave him to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) so they can look into it more and take the right steps.
The NAYEA caught Mohammed with the help of their own security team. They also caught three other people who bought things Mohammed stole.
On Friday, the boss of NAYEA, Alhaji Abdullahi Bala Likita, handed Mohammed over to the NSCDC.
Likita said NAYEA will keep working with other security groups to make sure Nasarawa State stays safe.
“We want everyone in Nasarawa State to be safe. We are working very hard to stop bad activities and catch the people who do them,” Likita said.
When they caught the suspects, they found four amplifiers, two batteries, and one microphone that had been stolen.
