Hilda Dokubo, the Chairman of the Labour Party in Rivers State, has been suspended from her position in her local area, Asari Toru.
This information was shared in a letter sent to the Chairman of the Labour Party in Asari Toru. The letter was signed by several local leaders: Mr. Ajalamonia Ibama (Ward Chairman), Mr. Lole Amacheer (Secretary), Mr. Emmanuel Ibamathe (Treasurer), Mrs. Osaki Dieypiriye (Women Leader), and Mr. Osaki Dokubo (Publicity Secretary).
The news agency NAN reported that the 54-year-old actress Hilda Dokubo was suspended last Thursday. This decision came after the local party leaders held an emergency meeting on July 15.
They accused Dokubo of several wrongdoings such as mishandling money, misusing her position, and breaking party rules. The local leaders said they found strong evidence to support these accusations after a detailed investigation.
As of now, Hilda Dokubo has not said anything about these accusations.
