Must Read

The Ondo State Security Network Agency, called the Amotekun Corps, has caught 24 criminals in different parts of the state.

At their office in Akure, the state capital, the head of Amotekun, Adetunji Adeleye, shared that they saved a kidnapped person.

Adeleye said they worked with other security teams to catch the criminals.

He said the bad guys were involved in kidnapping, robbery, theft, having guns illegally, and vandalizing CCTV cameras, among other bad activities.

“We showed 24 suspects. The good news is the state is safe. Laws are being followed, and the anti-open grazing law is in place.

“Human trafficking is down, and cultism and militancy issues are nearly gone. Kidnappings mainly happen at the borders, but we are taking care of them,” he added.

Talking about a woman named Bisola Olisa, who was rescued after being kidnapped, Adeleye said: “In the recent kidnapping case in Supare, where one person died and four were taken into the bush, we acted fast with other security teams.

“We caught two suspects, one of whom is here, and we believe we will free the remaining victims soon.”
