Isaac Balami Goes Back to APC

Nigerian aviation expert and youth leader, Isaac Balami, has decided to leave the Labour Party (LP) and go back to his old party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Balami used to be a big part of the Obi/Datti campaign for the 2023 presidential election. He told everyone about his decision on Wednesday when he talked to journalists in Abuja.

Balami had left the APC in 2023 because he didn’t like the idea of having both the president, Bola Tinubu, and his vice president, Kashim Shettima, being Muslim. But now, he feels that this is no longer an issue.

He said that he thought the Muslim-Muslim leadership was a problem, but now he sees it differently.

Balami, who was also the National President for Aircraft Pilots and Engineers, praised President Bola Tinubu. He said Tinubu has done a lot of good things, especially by giving important jobs to capable Nigerians from different places.

Balami said, “I didn’t see this good work when I left APC. Now, I see a better party and a good government. I think Nigeria will do well in a few years, and we should all work with APC to help our country.”

He continued, “After talking with many leaders across Nigeria, especially from the middle-belt, and discussing with my parents and family, I decided it’s best for me to leave the Labour Party and go back to APC.”
