“People are threatening to kill Judy and hurt our children,” alleges Yul Edochie

Controversial Nollywood actor and pastor, Yul Edochie, has announced an alleged plot by some people to kill his second wife, Judy Austin, and harm his two children.

In November 2021, Judy welcomed a son named Star Munachimso with Yul and on April 21, 2022, the actor publicly revealed her as his second wife.

Before the announcement, he was married to May for more than 17 years, a union that produced four children: a girl and three boys.

May, who seemed unhappy with the union, revealed that her husband paid Judy’s bride price on April 24, 2022 without informing her and filed for divorce in August 2023. Details of the court process were kept secret.

After making the news of his marriage to Judy public, he feuded on social media with his fans and gained a large following of critics and supporters alike.

At the same time, he and Judy have also become the butt of jokes on the Internet, especially on Facebook, where they host live videos and a mini reality show of their personal lives.

But these activities have earned him some bitter enemies; At least, that’s what his recent social media post suggests.

In a recent post, Yul claimed that those behind the plot created social media platforms to intimidate his fans, friends, and business partners.

Threat to life

He claimed the group, which operates on WhatsApp, has been intimidating and harassing others, including publishing his home address and threatening his children and partner.

Yul said he reported the matter to the police and is offering a reward of one million naira for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.

He wrote on Instagram: “I heard that a group of unemployed and stupid people formed a WhatsApp group and social media pages, and are using them to threaten my fans, friends and business partners. Harassment is unacceptable to me or anyone else. I have reported the matter to the police. If someone calls or texts you to threaten you, record the call, copy the number and text message, and send it to me so I can refer it to the police to track you down.

“I heard that they even went so far as to post my home address on their platform and threatened to hurt my children and kill Judy. They have crossed the line. You can’t sit at home and tell someone else how to live their life. God punish them all. I’ll catch them all.

“I am offering one million naira and more to anyone who can provide useful information about them to assist in their arrest. To all my fans and friends around the world, please help me stop these psychopaths. I thank you all for your love and support. God bless you. “Cyberbullying is unacceptable.”

He urged anyone who receives threatening calls or text messages to record and forward the communication to him so he can help police locate the perpetrators.

Yul called on everyone to join him in fighting this behavior and ensuring those responsible face the consequences.
