The Islamic Organization of Apex in Nigeria, the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), warned the Nigerians who are cautious of the manufacturers of mischief that circulate mischief supposed information supposed by the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhammad Sa'ad Abubakar, who folds as the supreme council.
The Council, in a statement signed by its deputy national legal advisor, Imam Haroun Muhammad Eze, Esq, made available to Tribune Online in Abuja, described the spurious statement attributed to the Sultan for Islamizing Nigeria as not only without foundation and unfounded, but also malicious.
According to the statement, the Sultan who allegedly made the statement had been out of Nigeria for two weeks, and added that the venerated traditional ruler, who directed the Nigerian Muslim community, composed of Muslims from all ethnic groups in Nigeria, could not have pronounced such an abominable statement.
“The attention of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) has been attracted to mischievous information that circulates in social networks that is falsely attributed to the Sultan of Sokoto, its eminence, Alh. Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar, Cfr, a misscutive statement towards the popular declaration of the eslamization of the eslamization.

“This spurious information is not only unfounded and unfounded, but also malicious. The Sultan, who supposed to have made the statement, has been out of the country during the last two weeks.
“The Muslim community that Sultan, by the grace of the Almighty God, includes the Muslims of all ethnic groups in Nigeria. Therefore, it is unimaginable that an eminent leader could have pronounced such an abominable statement,” Imam Eze said.
He added that, although the NSCIA would not normally dignify the perpetrators of such act of Dastard with an answer, since they believe that each person of adequate thought would wear it: “We also see the need to educate the general public so that the information causes injuries to indisputable minds.
“The Council asks all Nigerians not only to ignore the publication, but also always verify the veracity of any information that is presented to it before consuming and/ or circular it.”
Then, the Council says Almighty Allah to grant us peace and unity in Nigeria.
