A new and powerful storm system threatens millions in the United States (USA) only a few days after a mortal storm through the country left a path of devastation.

Although this last storm differs from the previous one, it is expected to trigger severe thunderstorms, trigger fast -movement forest fires and bring snow storm conditions to parts of the central United States.

According to CNN, the storm began to form on the rockies on Tuesday afternoon and it is forecast to move to the plains at dusk, strengthening itself significantly while heading towards the west medium. Even before developing completely, the system was already generating dangerous dust storms for Tuesday morning.

Strong winds are expected to be the most widespread danger, with bursts higher than the 40 mph prognosis in a stretch of 1,300 miles from Texas to Minnesota on Wednesday. These winds have the potential to overthrow trees and electricity lines, which represents a significant threat to communities along the path of the storm.

The persistent climatic pattern that grabs the US.

When the storm began to take shape, the raccoon winds spread through parts of the rocky mountains and plains of the south on Tuesday, abruptly increasing the potential of forest fires. The storm prediction center issued a warning of a “probable outbreak of forest fires.”

A risk of critical level fire of 3 of 3 for parts of New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma, where vegetation and dry bursts that reach 60 mph could turn on and spread the fires were declared. “Some bursts could approach 80 mph, especially in the east of New Mexico,” said the forecasters.

On Wednesday, the risk of forest fires will persist, with a climate risk of level 2 of 3 in place for areas in the west and southern Texas, where frequent bursts are expected from 30 to 40 mph. Although the strongest winds will occur more to the north as the storm intensifies, the most severe fire danger will remain in the southern plains affected by drought.

The greatest danger of fire follows a weekend of mortal forest fires. “More than 130 forest fires fed by strong winds of the last storm damaged at least 400 homes and killed four people in separated counties in Oklahoma,” according to the State Emergency Management Department.

The same storm system has also caused dangerous dust storms. “Strong winds also began lifting dirt and rubble and creating blinding dust storms on Tuesday morning.” For Tuesday afternoon, there were warning warnings of dust in New Mexico, Texas and Kansas, when the bursts of more than 50 mph swept the region.

Dust storms can drastically reduce visibility and air quality, which makes driving especially dangerous. “There is no safe place on a road when a dust storm arrives,” warned the National Meteorological Service in El Paso, Texas, Tuesday.

The dangers of such storms were evident last Friday, when “at least eight people in Kansas and four people in Texas were killed in car accidents” as dust storms reduced visibility to almost zero.

As the system continues east, the snow is expected to fall on the plains on Tuesday night and reach parts of the west media on Wednesday morning. The heaviest snow accumulation, more than half foot is possible from eastern Nebraska to Michigan's upper peninsula on Wednesday night.

Although a few inch snow in March may not interrupt life in the plains and the west medium, strong and sustained winds could turn these conditions in something much more dangerous.

Blizzard conditions could arise as strong bursts are combined with snowfall to create blackout conditions. “The bleaching are possible even in places where only an inch of snow falls due to the strength of the bursts on Wednesday, more than 50 mph in parts of Nebraska, Iowa and Minnesota.”

The National Meteorological Service in Des Moines, Iowa, issued a raw warning about the travel risk: “traveling in snowstorm conditions could be” treacherous and potentially deadly. “
