Speaking to journalists on behalf of the members, the president of the coalition, Elder Abel Musa, frowned that they were not taken with respect to OBI's visit to the governor.

“Supervision undermines the collective efforts made by the movement before, during and after the 2023 elections, as well as our continuous initiatives aimed at improving Nigeria.
“Such actions run the risk of discouraging a movement that has arisen in response to critical issues, including poor administration, insecurity, infrastructure deficits and the growing cost of living.
“The statement that the visit of his excellence was purely private is misleading; He is not a common citizen, even when he is in a private capacity. “

Musa said it was a bit in part of the committed members of the coalition who had sustained mobilization for the course of the LP and its candidate in the last general elections.
“Unfortunately, this situation arose shortly after a very successful summit of the Obpendent Movement of the Northeast, where dedicated members of the Bauchi State actively participated in both planning and execution.
“Feeling marginalized during this visit is unfortunate and provocative for our members. I understand and appreciate the frustration and anger expressed by the members of the Obpendent Movement with respect to this matter.
“I praise the maturity of all coordinators and stakeholders for their efforts to calm the frayed nerves and reinforce our belief that a new Nigeria is possible,” he added.
He appealed to the members of the Obpendent Movement to remain focused and consisting of defending their values, even when he urged his team to reconsider their approach and involve the obvious movement in future activities in several states.
“This collaboration is vital to revive the enthusiasm that seems to be decreasing due to recent actions and inactions,” Musa said.
