The Iwo Action Council, a general body of all clubs and groups in Iwoland, has praised the Governor of the State of Osun, Adelade Adelev, by the recently presented infrastructure projects of which IWO is scheduled for significant attention.
Another group, Iwo Leaders of Thought, described the projects assigned to Iwoland as unprecedented since the creation of the State, describing the approach to IWO as one of the best things that happened to the anxious city since its inception.
The IWO Action Council, in Sunday's statement, signed by its president, Eng. Jire Ayinla and the Secretary General, Alhaji Adeke, Taored, expressed “appreciation for the announcement of the governor of plans to drear the road of the municipality of Iwo along with the other ongoing projects. This initiative is not only a testimony of its dedication to the development of infrastructure, but also a reflection of its genuine commitment to improve the life of the residents of the state of Osun.
“For years, the need for a well -structured and accessible road network in IWO has been a pressing concern. The proposed duration of ODO-ODEEKE ROAD, the road projects of the current municipality, together with other projects such as the rehabilitation of Methodist Secondary School, will undoubtedly improve
Mobility, promote economic activities and promote security within our community.
“His decision is a welcome relief for all who have anticipated this development. His leadership continues to inspire confidence in the possibilities of progressive governance, and this gesture strengthens our confidence in his vision for the state of Osun. We are particularly proud that our community has been prioritized in the development agenda of its administration.
“His excellence, we are also informed that the rehabilitation and improvement of the Government Technical College, IWO, are already in the 2025 budget. We hope that the Mega School in Iwo Grammar School, Iwo, is completed and used in due time.

The leaders of Iwo's thought, in a statement signed by its operations director, Prince Moruf Adedapo, praised the Governor of the State of Osun, Senator Adela Adeleke, for making the appropriate investment to raise the infrastructure of the State, describing their recently revealed infrastructure plan as bold and transformer.
The professional group said that the infrastructure plan underlines the genuine commitment of the governor to increase the rhythm of the economic growth of the State, noting that investments in education, health and road networks are catalysts to achieve a state of Osun Prospero.
He acclaimed Governor Adeke for committing to complete the Iwo-Oosogbo road and building the first dualized path in Iwo, among other strategic paths that will affect the people of Iwo positively, praising the governor as a man who values the value of his word.
“Some time ago, Governor Adeke promised to transform five cities into the state of Osun to the cities when raising their infrastructure, and we are seeing the manifestations of that promise.
“As we saw with the first phase of the infrastructure plan, Governor Adeke is starting commendable projects that will not only transform cities but also improve people's lives. Osun has never been so good, and we want to recognize Mr. Governor's sustained commitment to transform Osun for better.
“We like to appreciate Governor Adeke to include IWO in his infrastructure plan with the planned construction of the first died road in the old city with spur to the Oluwo Palace and also the completion of the IWO-OOSOGBO highway that has remained in a deplorable condition for years. We also recommend that the Governor for the planned construction of IWO-EJIGBO Road and many other road projects already built in IWO for their administration in less than three years. “
The group observed that Governor Adeke has demonstrated a deep interest in the development of IWO, given the level of infrastructure projects in the city, saying that Iwo will not hesitate to unite efforts to ensure that good work does not stop when time arises.
