The Party of the Peoples of Action (APP) in the state of OSun has initiated a contempt procedure against the Congress of all progressives (APC), its state president, Tajudeen Lawal and the presidents of the local government elected under the party.
In a lawsuit filed on Tuesday before a Federal Superior Court in Osoagbo, app alleges that the defendants have disobeyed a court order that, according to the reports, eliminated the presidents of their positions.
According to the applicant for the numbered claim FHC/OS/CS/103/22, the Federal Superior Court had on November 30, 2022, dismissed the President of APC of the position in a lawsuit filed by the application against the local government elections held by the immediate last administration.
