A youth group, coalition of youth and community organizations in Ondo (Coyco), said Nigeria needed selfless and exemplary leadership at all levels and weapons of the government to change the political, economic and security situation of the country.
The young people also accused the Nigerians and the people of the state of Ondo who chose the selfless, patriotic and focused on people who can transform the State and the country.
This is fair as the group unanimously supported and asked a philanthropist, the high bamidele omosehin chief, as his favorite candidate for national representation in the general elections of 2027 in the state of Ondo.
The leaders of the youth group, the interested parties of the community and the civil society groups, declared this in Okitipupa, the area of the local government of Okitipupa of the State, noting that the poor leadership remained the biggest problem in the country and requested selfless leaders and willing to sacrifice for the greater good of the state and the country.
Coyco emphasized the urgent need for leaders who prioritize the service, integrity and basic development, asking people to see Omosehin as a real leadership model.
While talking, Coyco's call and executive director, Comrade Olafeso Oladipupuo, revealed the commitment of the coalition to ensure that young people and communities are represented by selfless leaders and visionaries.
He said: “For too long, we have suffered the consequences of an ineffective representation. It is time to change the narrative by choosing leaders who have constantly demonstrated their commitment to people, not only in words, but in actions.
“The high chief Bamidele Omosehin has been a lighthouse of Esperanza, a leader who has invested a lot in the growth of Ondo South without occupying any political position. Imagine what I could achieve with a bigger platform to serve. ”
He observed Omasehin's contributions through its foundation, the Bamidele Omosehin Foundation, which has empowered thousands of young people, providing scholarships to students, financing community development and support projects of widows and vulnerable groups in Ondo South.
He said that the support of Coyco de Omasehin is based on a broader call for a change in governance, one that places the interests of people above personal ambitions.
The coalition urged young people, community leaders and progressive interested parties to align with the leaders who embody the principles of patriotism, service and responsibility.
“Patriotism is not just about waving a flag; It is a selfless service, of lifting others, of putting the collective good over individual gain. The senior bamidele omosehin has constantly demonstrated that he is ready to serve people.
“That is why Coyco supports it with pride and will mobilize mass support to ensure that Ondo South obtains the representation it really deserves.”
However, the youth group promised to lead an extensive basic mobilization effort in the six areas of the local government of Ondo South, to ensure that people's voices are translated into action in surveys as the 2027 elections approach.
The support of Omosehin by Coyco marks a significant political change, indicating the preparation of Ondo South to the chosen leaders who embody patriotism, progress and selfless service.
