The Ebonyi State Police command arrested a man, Ovuta Chigozie, for being in possession of two human skulls and three locally made weapons.
The suspect is from the Okoffia community in Ezza South Lga of the State.
During the interrogation, Chigozie confessed that human skulls were given to the preparation of a spiritual mixture. The authorities actively chase the individual mentioned in relation to this case.
In a separate operation, while tracking a stolen tricycle, command agents discovered a criminal union specialized in altering the colors of the stolen tricycles of neighboring states.
This operation led to the arrest of Nweke Chukwudi, Nwankwo Obinna, John Abba and Uche Abba.
Three stolen tricycles of the suspects were recovered, who admitted having received complicit vehicles for color modifications.
This is contained in a statement issued Wednesday by command spokesman, Sp Joshua Ukandu, and makes journalists at Abakalili.
All suspects will be accused of courts at the end of the investigations.
The Ebonyi state command reiterated its commitment to safeguard lives and properties throughout the state.
