A superior court of the state of Kwara sitting in Ilorin, ordered on Monday the return of seven suspects related to the murder of Mojisola Awesu, a student of the State Health Technology Faculty, OFFA.
Judge of First Instance, Judge Ibrahim Yusuf ordered that the seven suspects be forwarded in the correctional center.
The order was a sequel to the lawyer's absence to defendants 5, 6 and 7 in the Court.
The lawyer of the defendants 1 and fourth was not in court the last time the case was filed for a hearing on February 3, 2025.
Only the main suspects, Adebayo Joshua Happiness and Timileyin Kolawole, were referred to the correctional center as on the last date.
The first instance judge who was disgusted with the absence of a lawyer to the fifth, 6 and 7th defendants on Monday, ordered that the seven defendants be sent in the correctional installation until the next post of March 4 of B2025.
Adebayo Joshua Happiness and Timileyin Kolawole, the main suspects, were accused of conspiring and causing the death of Mojisola Awesu on August 9, 2024.
The Adebayo happiness and their parents Adebayo Adeniyi and Bukola Adeniyi were accused of conspiring and causing disappearance and destruction of evidence, punishable crimes under the law of the Criminal Code of the State of Kwara, 2006.
ADEOYE ADEOLA, LAWAL AMINAT and PETER BULUS were accused of conspiring and getting rid of the body of mojisola in a landfill along Wara Road, Ilorin, a criminal act under the prohibition of Kwara's state of the treatment of treatment in the law of human pieces , 2018.
