Adamawa police officers face alleged kidnappers, arrest two

Adamawa State Police command agents have arrested two alleged kidnappers.

The arrests were made after the agents hired a suspect gang in a duel of weapons from which other suspects escaped.

The staff of the anti-nausea unit of the command, in collaboration with the local hunters, reached the suspects while carrying out a coordinated incursion in the hiding places of kidnappers in Nguurore Forest and Gborom Mountain, Yola South and Demona Lga.

This is according to a press release from the Public Relations officer of the State Police, SP Suleiman Nguurje, who confirmed that the command raided the hiding place of armed criminals, who, when observing the agents, opened fire, causing a duel and driving to the arrest of the two suspects.

Nguuroje identified the suspects detained as Ahmadu Mohammed and Halilu Mohammed.

He also revealed that two AK-47 rifles, 66 rounds of Live 7.62 mm ammunition and a pump action, a Danish and charms gun, were taken from the suspects.
