The ABIA State Command of the Nigeria Security and Defense Corps, NSCDC, arrested three people for alleged vandalization of a pipeline, oil theft and illegal treatment in oil products in umuowaga umuelechi obujo paved in ukwa West lga, state of Abia.
The arrest was announced on Monday in a statement from Doreen Udugwu, public relations officer.
According to the statement, the successful arrest was possible through processable intelligence, which led the anti -Andal patrol team of the command to respond quickly. During the operation, substantial amounts of oil derived products were discovered.
The arrested suspects were identified as the Oscar Eteobong duo, 37, and Isaac Aniete Edemba UDOH, 40, respectively of the areas of the local government of Abak and Obot Akara of the state of Akwa Ibom, and on Sunday of Emmanuel Uuzoma, 20 , from Isiala-Ngwa North, Abia, Abia State.
The Commander of the State of ABIA of NSCDC, Akinsola Someremi, declared that the investigations are ongoing to identify and detain all the people involved in the criminal company to sabotage the economy of the nation.
