The governor of the state of Nasarawa, Abdullahi Sule, has fired all the appointed politicians in his administration.
The governor announced the decision on Friday, February 7, during a farewell session in the cameras of the Executive Council, the Government's house. Affected officials include special advisors, senior special assistants, special assistants and personal assistants.
Governor Sule appreciated his contributions to the development of the State and assured them that some could decide again in different capacities.

Meanwhile, he swore in a new Secretary of the State Government (SSG), Barr. Labaran Magaji, the former immediate commissioner and State Attorney General.
Other opened include the only administrator of the Udege Development Area in the local government of Nasarawa, as well as the President and members of the Board of the Faculty of Education, Akwanga. The governor urged them to work hard to support the success of his administration.
Governor Sule, who had dissolved the State Executive Council in early January, also revealed that he had presented a list of 16 commissioner nominees to the State Assembly Chamber for detection.
