The members of the Chamber of the Assembly of the State of Lagos, on Thursday, praised the contributions of President Bola Tinubu to democracy and good governance.
The Chamber also praised the bold and brave policies of the president designed to get the country out of the economic crisis to prosperity.
Legislators gave the recommendation during the plenary session on Thursday.
They appealed to the Nigerians to be patients with the government for more positive transformative advances under the presidency of Tinubu.
The motion was transferred under personal explanation by the legislator who represents EPE Custodyny 1, Hon. Abiodun Tobun during plenary.
Tobun described the country's economy as bad before the presidency of Tinubu.
He recalled how the Nigerians were pessimistic more than two years ago when the administration of President Bola Tinubu joined.
He said: “When the current government joined, they have missions and agendas. They are pressing their agenda in all situations, in disaster times.

“Today, we are happy that government economy policy progresses and we are seeing stability in the country.
“When the government arrived on board, the kidnapping rate, insecurity was so obvious that Nigerians cannot sleep with closed eyes. Today, reasonably, it has fallen.
“There is also a marginal decrease in immigration and I can tell you that we have an increase of approximately 3.1% in GDP in 2024.
“This, we appreciate what the government is doing. The price of oil is going down and, while we talk, the value of the dollar against Naira is decreasing.
“As parliamentarians, it is important for us to congratulate these policies and encourage the government to do more so that Nigeria is better.”
In his contribution, a member that represents the constituency of Eti Osa, Hon. Golahan Yishawu praised the president's outstanding leadership.
He said: “I stop before you today with great pride to celebrate the outstanding leadership of our father, President Bola Tinubu as leader of this great state.
“In addition, he has shown boldness, ambition and wisdom when guiding the country towards progress and this is worth praising and is also worth celebrating.”
In his comment, the majority leader of the Chamber, Hon Themeitope Adewale, promised the loyalty of the state assembly to President Tinubu.
Excmo Aro Moshers, said: “We are strongly behind the president's policies. We also express our confidence that he will deliver to the Nigerians.
“We are strongly with him, and we are making our promise of loyalty completely return him, and we are totally in support of his administration.”
Legislator representing continental lakes 1, Hon. Owolabi Ajani said: “Today I am a proud Nigerian for the president we have.
“A few years ago, he made some political statements in his first speech before the nation, and almost these have been achieved in his first term.
“Now we have medical tourism with people who enter our country, not only the people who take our doctors, people now come to Nigeria to obtain cheaper and cheaper medical care. That is something we should be extremely proud as Nigerians. “
The Honte Stephen Ogundipe praised the president and his team at the federal level for creating visible economic policies that we can all stand up and be very proud today.
He also praised the president's commitment to democracy and good government.
Before governing the motion, the president of the house, Rt. Excmo Mojisola Meranda expressed his gratitude to the president and the first lady for his leadership.
The Chamber decided to write to the president to express the loyalty of the members and congratulate him for his leadership of the country.
