Delta's airplanes, Japan Airlines collide at Seattle airport

A Delta Airlines plane and a Japan Airlines plane collided on the floor at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea) on Wednesday morning, which caused an emergency response from airport officials.

The incident occurred just after 10:15 am local time on a ramp along a taxi lane between the sbar of S and the southern maintenance hangars of the airport, as it is.

In a statement published in X, the airport said the collision involved a plane from Japan Airlines in filming “that seems to have hit” the tail of a parceline airline plane parked.

Emergency teams, including Seattle, police and maritime operations, responded immediately. The authorities confirmed that all passengers were exhausted and transported safely to the terminal without any reported injury.

“All passengers of [the] Incident involving Japan Airlines Flight 68 and Delta Air Lines Flight 1921 has been exhausted [with] No injuries were reported, ”he said in a statement.

“Airlines are working to accommodate passengers as necessary. Airport response equipment will move the plane of the ramp skirting street. ”

It was advised to travelers to consult with their airlines any possible interruption, but declared that the collision had “a minimum impact on airport operations, since this happened in a taxi lane.”

The incident occurs exactly one week after an accident in the air near Washington, DC, between a passenger plane and a black hawk helicopter of the army that killed 67 people.
