APC does not need Kwankwaso to claim Kano – Group

The Secretary of the Northwest Alliance of the Northwest Alliance of All Progressive Congress (APC) for good governance (NAGG), comrade Auwal Shuaib, has declared that the 2027 elections will be a trip without problems for the APC and its candidate, the President Bola Tinubu.

He believes that opposition parties have lost their political approach and the will to represent any significant threat in the current political landscape.

He also pointed out that without the support of the new presidential candidate of the Popular Party of Nigeria (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the APC is well positioned to claim the state of Kano of the titular governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf.

According to him, “the APC in Kano and the entire region will be better without Senator Kwankwaso. We urge President Tinubu not to succumb to emotional blackmail. With Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje as national president, victory is safe. He has demonstrated excellent leadership qualities in party management and administration, along with the ability to win elections. “

In statements to the press on Monday in Kano, Comrade Shuaib commented on the rumors movements of the former governor of Kano and leader of the Kwankwasiyya group, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, to join the APC.

He said the party is not worried, since many political parties are currently facing their own crises.

Comrade Shuaib reiterated that the 2027 elections will be a soft trip for the APC and his candidate, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He said: “If you look closely at the results of the last elections, Prem Tinubu obtained more than 500,000 votes in Kano. Senator Kwankwaso beat him just a few hundred votes.

He continued: “The margin is insignificant, looking at the probabilities against APC. Then, Kwankwaso's myth has been demystified. If as then, President Tinubu won, without Kwanwaso's support, how much more is he president?

“The best thing you can do is consolidate the position of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje as party president, and empower the APC family in Kano and other states to guarantee a perfect victory.”

Speaking on the same line, the group coordinator, Amb. Abdullahi Mohammed Sai “making peace between the two political gladiators in Kano, Ganduje and Kwankwaso is an idea welcome. But, this can necessarily be achieved that Kwankwaso's senator be dismissed before the APC.

Remember, Dr. Ganduje worked to keep the Kano APC unified and stronger to face future elections. While Kwankwaso has worked to destabilize the party.
