The governor of the state of Zamfara, Dauda Lawal, has expressed optimism that the Democratic Party of the Peoples (PDP) would exceed its persistent leadership crisis in any distant time.
Lawal gave security during a condolence visit to Governor Seyi Makinde of the state of Oyo about the disappearance of his older brother, the engineer Makinde in his Agodi Gra residency on Sunday.
The governor, who explained that the decision of the PDP to support Ude-Okoye on Sunday, as a national secretary, remained valid, said the party would be stronger in its crisis.
Lawal insisted that the PDP needed to learn from certain mistakes he had made.
He argued that the resolution of the governor meeting in Delta showed that the party is making efforts to get stronger to take Nigeria to the promised land.
“Regarding what is currently happening in the PDP; In politics, there are always problems. With what happened in Delta two days ago, it shows that we are making waves to return to people to lead this country.

“This will make us even stronger because we need to learn from certain mistakes and that will be a learning process.”
