2027: Reject Tinubu, APC for the future, Adbayo de SDP tells the Nigerians

The head of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and his presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, Prince Adwole Adebayo has asked for the rejection of President Bola Tinubu and his party, the congress of all progressives (APC) before the presidential elections of 2027.

He called the Nigerians to embrace the SDP for the good of the future.

He pointed out that although he wishes the president the best and prays for him, he would not hesitate to speak and offer better alternatives when the president begins to produce wrong policies.

“I wish the president and pray for him every day. I tell all those who want to pray for anyone in this country, who overthrow for President Tinubu because anything that does affect the safety of Nigerians, well -being and progress in the country.

“However, when you have wrong policies, it is my duty to point them out; Not only that is also my duty to offer alternatives to the Nigerians and demonstrate to Nigerians that these alternatives are better. And when he has an opportunity, simply away from Tinubu and APC and his policies for the good of his children and grandchildren, and look for alternatives. Consider the SDP and our platform. There is no enmity in that, ”he said.

He also made it clear that the SDP is not against President Tinubu, but against subgrammed development, insecurity, poverty, the devaluation of the currency, the lack of transparency and waste, which have come to characterize the government of Tinubu .

He said: “The SDP is not anti-tinubu. The SDP is against underdevelopment, poverty, insecurity, devaluation currency, lack of transparency and waste. We are unemployed. And Tinubu produces many of those things now. And sometimes, when we talk about that, it will look like, Oh, we are against the president, but we have been talking about this for a long time even under Jonathan. We are consistent in this regard. “

He regretted the poor state of the textile industry, the oil industry and the agricultural sector in the country, emphasizing that many people are disappointed with President Tinubu because they thought they would have fixed those sectors in the last two years of their government.

“Our textile industry is gone. Our oil industry is about to restart something good now, after two decades of cruelty. Our agriculture does not work. Therefore, it does not matter that President Tinubu is there now, who is now, our criticisms will be the same, but many people are disappointed that President Tinubu, who thought that, ”he said.

Adebayo, however, said he was not disappointed with Tinubu and that is why he challenged him in 2023. He stressed that he would still be played against him in 2027 if he was given the opportunity because he is currently pushing many Nigerians to poverty. A country that is richly blessed.

“But I'm not disappointed. That's why I opposed him. That's why I ran against him the last time, and that is why I'm going to run against him now if the opportunity occurs to me.

“The problem is that talking against traffic jams does not mean that you hate drivers. Talking against hunger does not mean that you hate the Minister of Agriculture. Talking against the poor academic qualifications does not mean that you hate the Minister of Education. These are things that we should not have. I do not like an epileptic power supply, but it does not mean that I hate the minister in charge of power. It's just that these are not good things to have.

“The president is making many Nigerians poor. He is leaving millions behind, and a lot of money is being spent on the budget and outside the budget, which is not reflected in the welfare of people.

“No matter who is there. These are not good things. And these are things that even the president himself, when he was in the opposition, campaigned, and I think that in his heart of the heart, he should not be satisfied.

“I do not believe that his vision is that two years after being in power, people will continue to scream hunger, subgrammment and unemployment everywhere. The currency will be so badly damaged to this point that inflation goes to almost half of the double digit.

“So, I don't think I want all that. And I think he is probably fighting on his own, trying to discover how to correct some of these errors. And our work is to provide alternatives because there are certain easy options, valuable options that President Tinubu is not considering, which shows me that he has seriously thought about the method he is using now. And he really believes, although erroneously, that these methods will work.

“I hope they work, but I know that historically, they have never worked. So, I am trying to prepare the Nigerians for an alternative that is better than this, ”he said.
