Governor Bago reaffirms his commitment to provide democratic dividends

Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has expressed gratitude to the people of Suleja Local Government Area for their overwhelming support for his administration and assured them of the dividends of democracy.

He stated this in the open space of the Palace of the Emir of Suleja in Suleja at the end of his visit to the entire state and monitoring of the project.

The Governor said his visit was to inspect the ongoing projects in the local government and take the pulse of the people.

He said that the list of requests presented to him by the Local Government Council will be analyzed to address them.

The Governor assured the people of Suleja that his administration will continue to execute significant projects considering its proximity to Abuja, adding that a CNG filling station is being constructed to refuel the 100 CNG buses that will ply the Suleja and Abuja route at a subsidized rate. for workers and free for students.

He thanked the Niger Eastern Senator, Mohammed Sani Musa, for making a positive impact on the constituency projects in Suleja.

The Governor then revealed that the Senator will build a standard stadium in Suleja, renovate the Kwamba garage, build a skill acquisition center and sponsor 20 students from the area to study in Singapore.

He also revealed that the federal and state legislators of the area have agreed to support the state government with project funds from their constituency for robust infrastructure development in the local government.

Niger Eastern Senator Mohammed Sani Musa has appealed to traditional leaders in the Council area to stop meddling in political matters but allow politicians to deal with political issues.

He assured the people of Suleja that Agricultural Governor Umaru Bago has their best interests at heart and urged them to continue to be patient and show understanding to reap more benefits.

Madakin Zazzau Suleja, Shuaibu Gani, Comrade Murtala Badaru and the Council Chairman, Isyaku Bawa Na'ibi, in their separate statements applauded the development projects of the Suleja peasant governor.

While pledging their unconditional support to the Bago-led administration, they called for quick completion of the projects.

Earlier, the Governor was received by the Emir of Zazzau Suleja, Mallam Muhammadu Awwal Ibrahim, to receive royal blessings, where the Emir appreciated the visit and assured him that the Emirate will continue to provide good and wise advice that will bring about development.
