Ogun Authorities Arrest Suspect in Robbery Case

Must Read

The police in Ogun State caught a young man named Segun Owoduti. He is 26 years old and part of a group of three people who were stealing from people in Sagamu. This is a place where many people live, and everyone wants to feel safe.

They caught Segun on Wednesday while he was on a road called Agbele-Igbepe. The other two people with him ran away, but they got hurt. They might not have gotten far since they were hurt.

A police person, Ms. Omolola Odutola, told this to the DAILY POST on Thursday. She said these people would ride motorcycles to take things from other people. This made people feel scared when they were just trying to live their lives.

Ms. Odutola explained what happened on October 30, 2024. People in the area told the police that something bad was happening. So, the police acted quickly. They found Segun Owoduti, but the other two ran away even though they got hurt.

The whole action happened at about 6:50 in the evening. The police were driving around Agbele Road when they heard about the robbery group. The bad men were using a Bajaj motorcycle with the plate number KJA 568 OM to escape. The police chased them, which was like a scene in a movie, just a little more real. They caught Segun, but his friends slipped away, hiding in the bushes nearby.

The police are still asking questions to figure out everything. Once they know more, they will send the case to a place in Abeokuta so experts there can look into it further.
