Suspended RCCG Pastor Claims: ‘I Have Never Been Intimate with Any Man’

Must Read

A pastor named Ayorinde AdeBello from the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) was suspended, but he says he didn’t do what people are saying about him. The church said this in a letter, telling everyone why he and another pastor are suspended. It was a pretty serious matter.

The church letter talked about big worries. It said they were looking into claims that the pastor did something wrong. A person named Sunday Akande, who helps lead the church, signed this letter, saying they’re checking the facts. They’re making sure the truth is found out.

Pastor AdeBello went on Instagram to talk about what’s happening. He said, “I didn’t do any bad things with young boys.” He felt sad because people thought he was being quiet because he was guilty, but that wasn’t the case.

He shared that some people wrote bad things about him on a website. This made him think people would come to the wrong conclusion.

He didn’t want to talk about it first because someone told him maybe the bad news is just to get more readers. But now, he feels he must speak because people might believe he did something wrong.

The pastor shared, “I never asked any boy to do something inappropriate for me.” He believes everyone is special and only God can decide who is important or give them opportunities.

He also mentioned, “I never did any bad thing with anybody or asked them to do such a thing.” He explained that he was talking to a group of young boys online about taking care of themselves.

They talked about how to stay clean and what clothes to wear that are comfortable. Pastor AdeBello wanted them to know they are all special and should feel good about themselves. He felt sad that his words were changed to make people think bad things about him.
